I just remembered (actually I just saw them in my car's cup holder this morning) about two fortunes I received earlier this week. With everything going on in in my training ("knee" and "groin" issues) I will definitely hold these a bit closer from now until race day.
On Tuesday, after dining on some
delicious Pei Wei (Steamed teriyaki chicken with brown rice), I
cracked open one of two fortune cookies that were in the bottom of the
carry out bag. Much to my delight, here is what it said:
"Use your abilities at this time to stay focused on your goal. You will succeed"
Feeling good, I decided to crack open number two to see what other nuggets of wisdom were about to presented to me. How about:
"Your efforts are budding - results will appear soon"
I, for the life of me, can't
recall getting even ONE (let alone TWO) fortunes that were so closely
related to what I have going on and whats coming up in the near future - IMAZ 2012. I will
take all of the good Karma I can at this point, so I'm hanging on to
these bad boys for a while.
