January Numbers

Not much going on, so there isn't much to discuss.  Only thing I would like to point out is the absolute drop-off in my swimming.  Sometime in January, I cancelled my membership to the YMCA as I wasn't utilizing it enough to warrant the monthly fee.  I figured that I could supplement my swimming with the ONE Masters swim every Wednesday along with swims in our endless pools as necessary.  Well, I eventually stopped going to the Wednesday swim and I've been so busy that I haven't found too much time for the endless.  My total swimming yardage, since my Nationals swim meet in May 2013, has been a whopping 71,000 yards.  That comes out to about 7900 per month (11625 was the most).  For me, that's unheard of especially when you consider that I've turned out 47500, 46450, 48579, and 44150 in a single month before!

Well, I guess this is another "whoa is me" blog about the inactivity I've experienced during the winter months.  Oh well, I'll pull out of it soon enough (hopefully!)  In the meantime, I'll let the numbers speak for themselves:


JANUARY 2010 TOTALS:
SWIM = 0 yards
BIKE = 364.75 miles
RUN = 32 miles

JANUARY 2011 TOTALS:
SWIM = 46450 yards
BIKE = 180.44 miles
RUN = 5 miles

JANUARY 2012 TOTALS:
SWIM = 7500 yards
BIKE = 258.40 miles
RUN = 0 miles
 
JANUARY 2013 TOTALS:
SWIM = 19750 yards & 90 min in endless pool
BIKE = 0
RUN = 26.89 miles

JANUARY 2014 TOTALS:
SWIM = 6700 yards
BIKE = 79.22 miles (all MTB)
RUN = 11 miles
